And all of the leaves came from this guy in the back yard. This picture was taken three weeks ago. Most of the leaves had fallen by Halloween.

Christmas Garland from Fallen Leaves
We have been making garland from real leaves that have just fallen from the tree in our backyard and decided to do Christmas colors. Garland is usually made of plastic and ends up in the landfill. It feels good to make a "green" version.
A little early for Christmas? We have been slowing catching the spirit.

Very pretty! Your garland looks very nice on the Christmas tree. And yes, it snowed a bit here too. Got me out to the garden working hard, as there were lots of jobs to do before the frost. That's much earlier than usual for us. :s
